Our History

1986: Our Company is founded after great effort, initially venturing with small format machines and about 7 employees to primarily serve the garment, pharmaceutical, and light bulb industries.

1991: The decision is taken to move our operations to new premises due to the increase in our client portfolio (pharma, food, and household products). At this time we had grown to 30 employees.

1994: We continued to grow and define our future business scope, acquiring the 7,000 m2 site where we are located today.

2004: Due to our growth and the large companies which form our client base, we begin to implement new technologies, including several large-format 6 color machines to meet the needs of the fishing and pharmaceutical industries.

2008: We complement our pre-press processes with CTP technology (Computer to Plate) and also expand into the rest of the country with large business customers.

2009: Lamination processes are automated, rendering Escala Impresores one of the leading printing companies in Colombia in the manufacture of metallized products for the pharmaceutical industry.

2012: Production increases due to the inclusion of new technologies for the food and beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries; the production of Boutique bags begins.

2013: We include in our manufacturing processes flexographic printing technology, thus making inroads in the market for roll labels and shrink sleeves.

2016: There is still room for growth, but we have state-of-the-art technology to handle the important market on the coast and the rest of the country. Civil works are carried out increasing the space of operations by 25%

2017: A new special technology for folding multipacks is added to our glue lines, offering greater versatility in changes of formats and increasing the gluing speed.
